Within the last few months we have had very little to laugh about, but Keegan is always one to keep us laughing when times get really stressful.
Funny #1: Keegan . . .1 2 3 Draw
Keegan's Meemaw bought him a cowboy set a few weeks ago with a hat, holster and two cap pistols. Keegan and his Papa had been playing with them the whole evening long. At this time Keegan was playing with his pistol in the kitchen while Papa was holding the other pistol down in the den. Keegan was standing on top of the stairs looking down into the den while Papa was sitting on the couch when Papa said, "Keegan, 1, 2, 3 . . .draw", and Papa drew his gun. Keegan, being 2 almost 3, proceeded to bend over with his pistol and draw on the floors with it. Just goes to show you that you have to pay attention to the context to figure out what is meant by what is said.
Funny #2: Booger Nose
We were going to dinner one night with the inlaws and Keegan started picking his nose. I told him to stop because his finger would rot off. He then showed me the "nub" finger that we show him all the time when he picks his nose. Well . . .I started calling him a little booger and he said he wasn't a little booger, he was a big booger. I said okay, you are right, you are a big booger. Then I told him he was a little booger when he was a baby. At that point he asked me if since he was a booger, did he come from my nose.
Funny #3: Chasing Girls
I guess this one really isn't as funny as it is cute. He loves the song "Chasing Girls" by Rodney Atkins. He took his guitar out just now and walked with it, holding it like an expert, and performed "Chasing Girls" in front of everyone. It was really cute.

Recent Events
We are sitting in Greenwood trying to sale the rest of our stuff from the house. I am ready to get rid of this stuff. I got a job finally. I am teaching reading to 3-5 graders who need extra support. I love it! It's what I have always wanted to do in teaching. I just hope and pray that things will work out that I can get to keep it after this year.
The house is under contract again and we are due to close in December. Hopefully things will work out with this buyer. The last one was a doober-head as Keegan would say. It's crazy to think that someone who makes $60K a year, but only claims $12K because he is self-employed is trying to buy a $160K house. Oh well, what do you do?? Time to go for now.

Finally Moved
Well we have finally moved down to Due West, SC. If you don't know where that is, it's below Anderson and west of Greenwood. We are living with the in-laws. It's not too bad. Keegan has a lot of land to run around on. Chance and I pretty much have the upstairs to ourselves. It's not too bad. Our house, which was supposed to have been sold today (Wed, Sept. 30) has been put on hold until Monday (for the 3rd time). So we are praying the financing goes through this time around. If you are counting, this will be the fourth go round for financing reasons our house has not sold with the same person. Sad thing is, it's not the buyers fault! Anyways, Keegan seems to be adjusting well. He still asks to go to his old house, but not as often. I get a little down because I am about an hour away from my family and Chance's mom's family whom I am really close with. Hopefully, I will find a job soon and we can start looking for our own place. We want land mainly. I do have to say though, I am not excited about the prospect of packing again. Well I am going to run now. It's time to start fixing supper. Chance is hunting so it will be a while before he gets home. Thanks for reading! Have a blessed day!

Trip to the Children's Museum in Greenville
I took Keegan to the Children's Museum with his Granny, Aunt Cyndi (Aunt Cynnie), cousins Brandon (Bran-Bran) and Hayley (Hay-ee). Keegan had so much fun. He went grocery shopping in the Bilo market and loved it so much he had to have not one, not two, but three buggies. When it was time to move on to the next exhibit he wasn't very happy. On the way, we stopped at a climbing wall. Aunt Cynnie had to help Keegan climb it. We went to the farm next, which was for his age, and he was able to milk a cow, ride a horse, and make his mommy some food in the kitchen farm house. The only reason he left that part was because he had to go to the bathroom. He was happy as a lark and I could easily see him being a farmer when he gets older. We finally visited the frog pond on the third floor. Keegan played in the duck pond and baptized himself in one of the water falls. He was soaked from the waist up. It was hilarious. Oh yeah, make sure you don't take sippy cups in for your child because they are not allowed to drink them in the museum at all!!! Anyways, it was a lot of fun and we will definitely go back, but maybe take daddy this time.

Wow it's been a long time
It's been a really long time since I have been on here. It has been a crazy summer with trying to sell our house and me find a job. Summer is almost out and I am wondering if something will ever come along. I am really trying to stay positive and remember that God will always provide and sustain. He already has a lot through this time so far. I am getting antsy though because I am ready for a routine again. Being ADD without a routine is not necessarily a good thing. Anyways, for all you blog followers, thanks for following. Maybe I can post some pics on here of our summer. All my school teacher buddies, have a great year. I'll be thinking about ya!

Keegan's Silly Moments
The other night, our friends, Daniel and Michelle, (Nannel and Joe, to Keegan), came over to hang out. We got out Keegie's toy guns to play with and he got shot. The best part was when he fell down and played dead completely spread eagle. I wish I had it on video, however, it is never around when you need it!

Today was another great day in Sue Cleveland Land. I taught my kids as much as they wanted to learn. They get really excited about learning about regions of the USA. This makes me think I am doing a good thing. I have to go now, but send me a comment. Later!
